CanalSat va étoffer son offre HD d'ici la fin 2007 en proposant 3 nouvelles chaines en Haute Définition. L'accès à ce service se fera via leur nouveau décodeur HD. Celui-ci intègre également un modem ADSL afin de pouvoir profiter également de la VOD (Vidéo On Demand). Grâce à un double tuner, des fonctions d'enregistrement améliorées (PVR) seront également possibles via l'utilisation d'un disque dur externe (le décodeur en est dépourvu). On pourra notamment regarder un programme tout en en enregistrant un autre.
